Some programs have specific deadlines. Application closing dates are listed on the Future Students website.
International students: Closing dates will depend on the program you apply for and the visa assessment category of your country of origin.
Domestic undergraduate students applying through QTAC: QTAC offers a year-round application process, allowing applicants to select undergraduate degree programs commencing in first and second semester on a single application. However, not all programs commence mid-year. QTAC applications open in August each year with applications for programs commencing in Semester 1 due for on-time submission by the last business day in September. You can lodge applications after the September due date, but you may have to pay a late fee. For more information, see QTAC key dates and fees.
Domestic postgraduate coursework students: Information on postgraduate coursework programs, including how to apply and due dates, is available on the Future Students website.
Higher degree by research students: You can apply at any time for admission to higher degree by research programs. However, candidates who wish to be considered for a UQ Graduate School tuition fee and/or living allowance scholarship should note that the HDR Scholarship Selection Committee meets twice a year to select the recipients. Dates are available on the Graduate School website.
